(Video) Watch the first 15 minutes of Battlefront II

Ignite the inferno and burn the Rebellion to the ground in Star Wars Battlefront II single-player campaign. Take on the role of Commander Iden Versio in a story following the destruction of the Death Star II and the death of the Emperor.

Star Wars Battlefront II drops in eight long days, with the campaign (canon) story-mode leading the way.

Don’t worry, we have found the first 15 minutes of Iden Versio, leader of Inferno Squad, and her escape from Rebel scum captivity. Check it out!

We begin with Iden Versio detained by Alliance forces, in an unknown location. Interrogation by a commanding officer ensues, who wants Iden to reveal a secret code of great importance.

With the help of her Assasin Droid, VZ626, she escapes her cell, where she has to navigate her way out, with additional assistance from her Inferno Squad command, agent Hask.

Next, we discover that Iden is on some vessel (likely) near Sullust. I am convinced she’s captured in the first place due to recon before the Battle of Endor.

Also, likely the reason why Vader learns of the Rebel fleet congregating there before that battle, thanks to the Intel by Iden.

Using a comlink, Hask guides her to the escape shoot, where she epically is launched into space, picked up by Hask and the Imperials, who save the day.

Now in hyperspace, the group prepares for the Battle of Endor, where Iden then says:

"Today, the Rebellion dies."

We then flashforward to the final moments of the Battle of Endor, from the lense of the other Versio, Admiral Garrick Versio (Iden’s father).

Meanwhile, the Inferno Squad is within the Forest Moon of Endor, now dealing with the aftermath of the shield generator failure.

If the hype wasn’t real already! I love seeing the parallels with the events from Return of the Jedi, making it feel like the actual storyline — which it is. Battlefront II will be another excellent addition to the Star Wars canon
