(Video) Watch an all-new The Last Jedi TV spot of Finn
Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Finn awakens in the latest TV spot.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters worldwide on December 15, which will be here in less than one month now.
In the meantime, Lucasfilm and Disney keep flooding us with TV Spots, with a vast majority of familiar footage from previous trailers and such.
However, each new TV spot has given us just enough new images and dialogue to “awaken” the Force within us each time.
The latest one is no different, which dropped earlier today.
"Finn: REY!Poe: You must have a thousand questions.Finn: Where’s Rey?"
Off the bat, Finn awakens from his Kylo Ren induced coma, with one thing on his mind. Rey! His thoughts dwell on Rey, but, why?
Finn’s response and actions here remind me of the beginning of The Force Awakens when he can sense Kylo Ren before he invades the Tuanal village of Jakku.
We all know what happens, with Kylo and his underlings brutally murdering a religious and peaceful village.
The trailers for The Force Awakens also give us all a significant misdirection, indicating that Finn would be the Jedi in training. Come to find out, Rey was the Force user, and Finn was not. Or is he?
Maybe, Finn is active in the Force as well, which he will develop those gifts in the next few films. Whether he is Force sensitive or not, we may learn his motivations for going undercover. To get Rey who is likely in the clutches of Snoke by the time Finn arises.
What a fantastic addition to the story, which will make his quest going undercover with Rose and D.J. even more exhilarating.
