Daisy Ridley teases the Dark Side for Rey in The Last Jedi

Daisy Ridley, Rey, teases the Dark Side for The Last Jedi in her appearance on Good Morning America.

Daisy Ridley, who stars as Rey in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, had a bit of fun on Good Morning America. Within a relaxed, conversational style interview, Ridley opened up about her time on the set of the film.

Her training in the Jedi arts has raised her swordsmanship skills to the next level, meaning we will see Rey in action like never before.

"I’m more proficient with a lightsaber."

Ridley also mentioned that her training produced more stamina, hinting that we may have one, if not several extended lightsaber duels.

Recent reports surfaced that Luke and Rey — possible spoilers — will have a grueling duel with Kylo Ren and the Knights of Ren. Just thinking of that scene going down gives me chills.

One of the co-hosts of Good Morning America went swinging for the fences, asking Daisy Ridley if Rey will go full Dark Side in The Last Jedi.

Cool, calm, and composed as ever, Ridley did not miss a beat, giving a thoughtful response to the intense inquiry.

"The lines are less clear as to good and bad. Rey is trying to find out about herself and the about the universe. Those questions don’t entirely fall to the good and don’t entirely fall to the bad."

Ridley expressed that the depth of Rey makes the ending “more rich,” which she recently saw the film herself, calling The Last Jedi “more surprising” than The Force Awakens.

She was then asked about her time with Carrie Fisher — Rest in Peace, Princess — who Ridley called one who “led by example,” but also made the experience an enjoyable one.

"In the first one we were always dancing together. This one we were always singing."

No significant spoilers were revealed, with Daisy Ridley already being a seasoned pro at handling the press. However, she did her job, (somehow) making me even more excited for The Last Jedi than ever before.
