Where in the world could the Knights of Ren be, who were without a mention in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
In The Force Awakens, Rey’s “Force-back” vision became a major staple within internet discussion boards, raising more questions than answers for Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
One of those inquiries being, who are those Dark Side, emo-looking figures with Kylo Ren? We do know that Kylo Ren is the Master of this group called the Knights of Ren, and that is about it. Who could these mysterious Knights of Ren be?
For those of you who still have not seen The Last Jedi, spoilers for the film are ahead.

Acolytes of the beyond.
In the Aftermath trilogy, which takes place starting just weeks after the Battle of Endor/Return of the Jedi, a clandestine group begins forming throughout the galaxy.
At firsts, these small band of Darth Vader obsessed, angsty teenagers are no threat, but, they later turn violent when the power of the Dark Side gets a hold of them.
Evidently, even those who are non-Force sensitive can harness the Dark Side of the Force when coming into contact with Sith artifacts.
So, imagine someone like Ben Solo/Kylo Ren who has that strong, Skywalker blood flowing through his veins connecting with the mask of the great Darth Vader.
When Kylo Ren is talking to the charred mask of his grandfather Darth Vader, it’s very likely, he was able to communicate with it somehow. At one time.

It’s also very plausible that the Knights of Ren were the handful of students who went with Ben Solo after he destroyed Luke’s Jedi temple.
But, once we reach the events of The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, they are nowhere to be seen.
Kylo Ren likely slaughtered them all, snuffing out any threat to his rising power. Or, we could see the Knights of Ren in Episode IX.
The likeliest scenario is that the Knights of Ren are a bunch of Darth Vader fanboys, previously known as the Acolytes of Beyond, who now follow the seed of Vader, Kylo Ren.
Snoke mocked Kylo Ren for wearing that “ridiculous” mask, so it’s likely this group is a bunch of obsessed Vader lovers, who Snoke tolerated for a while.
Once Kylo Ren failed on Starkiller Base while getting bested by Rey, Snoke’s acceptance of the Knights of Ren ended. The “mighty” Kylo Ren is no longer deserving of praise from unworthy followers.
