Star Wars Concept art for a Light Side Darth Vader reveal what Anakin Skywalker’s life-support suit would have looked like if completed.

Scraped Star Wars concept designs for (the never made) Battlefront IV, of an alternate reality feature of the game, reveals what Darth Vader would have looked like if he turned back to Anakin Skywalker — and survived.

Battlefront III was already in development and nearly complete in 2008, until Free Radical lost rights for the Star Wars game sending the highly anticipated game to the cutting room floor — with original concept ideas for the fourth installment along with it.

Thanks to the YouTuber Star Wars Theory for discovering this gem, we are most grateful for your efforts in discovering this secret of the Force.

Based on the likeness of Hayden Christensen, we now know what Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker could have looked if he chose the path of the Light Side of the Force.

Unlike the Dark Side of the Force, which takes, the Light Side of the Force appears to have restored much of Anakin’s former self — in this alternate reality.

I’ve always wondered what could have been for the tortured soul of Anakin Skywalker and now my wildest dreams are now a reality. Anakin looks magnificent, doesn’t he?

We dug a bit deeper and discovered other designs of favorite Star Wars characters, which are as intriguing as Light Side Darth Vader.

What could have been, if this game was seen through to its end? We can’t blame Disney for this failure, but the Star Wars franchise is known for scrapping some its best ideas.

How cool would it be to see this concept in the next Star Wars Battlefront rendition or even as a canon story? With Ezra Bridger “time traveling” in Star Wars Rebels, the possibilities are endless for future content, if Disney/Lucasfilm is open to the idea.
