Watch Han Solo and Chewie meet in the new Solo: A Star Wars Story TV spot (Video)
We’ve watched the new TV spot Solo: A Star Wars Story and we definitely have a good feeling about this movie!
We have been gifted more footage of the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story film in the form of a new TV Spot released earlier today.
The best part of this new TV spot was the interactions between Han Solo and Chewie. We even get to see a brief moment where Han Solo learns Chewie’s name.
Such a cool moment to get to witness between the most iconic duo in Star Wars Universe. It makes me all the more excited to see the movie on May 25!

In addition to this initial introduction, we get to see some of the snarky interchanges between the two best friends that we have come to expect over the years.
In one instance, the two are sitting in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon and Chewie lets out a low, exasperated growl.
Han Solo’s snappy comeback is: “You think everything is a bad idea.” Well, to be fair, Han, you do have a tendency to be a bit of a loose cannon…
Perhaps my favorite scene from this new footage is at the Sabacc table where Han is facing Lando (presumably this is where he wins the Millennium Falcon).
Han Solo shows Chewie his hand of cards and Chewie shakes his head and lets out defeated gargle. The footage just affirmed what the impression I already had of the film and that is that it will be an exciting blend of action and humor – two things that I think characterize Han Solo in the original trilogy.
