Ahsoka Tano: Ashley Eckstein teases future Luke Skywalker, Ahsoka story

Ashley Eckstein, teases a Luke Skywalker, Ahsoka meeting, embracing her inner Dave Filoni!

Dave Filoni is known among Star Wars fans as the ultimate Master-teaser in a galaxy far, far away. If you don’t believe us, ask Ashley Eckstein, Ahsoka Tano “Her”self, which Filoni “tortured” for months by not revealing even to her the fate of Ahsoka for many moons.

Even at Star Wars events, Filoni poked fun at Ashley Eckstein by saying things such as, “Is it Ahsoka Lives(!), or Ahsoka Lives(?). Savage!

He even made a T-shirt that said, “Ahsoka Lives” with a question mark at the end. Oh Mr. Filoni, the tease is strong in you!

The Padawan is now the Master, where Ashley Eckstein is embracing her inner fan tease, recently at a Star Wars event in St. Louis, Missouri, which we were fortunate enough to attend — keep your eyes peeled for a write up on our fantastic experience with Ashley Eckstein and her husband, David Eckstein!

Anyways, the photo itself is pretty cool, but the caption below is what makes this image something truly special.

More from Dork Side of the Force

The caption reads: “Luke, let tell you about your father.” As you can imagine, that generated a tremendous amount of buzz, with fans freaking out about the possibility of Ahsoka Tano and Luke Skywalker meeting.

Before we dive in, Ashley Eckstein made it (kyber) crystal clear that her only current involvement in Star Wars is only voicing the Togruta (former) Jedi in the animated-short series Forces of Destiny.

Ashley Eckstein did mention she would love to play her again in future content and welcomes it, but nothing is currently in development — as of yet.

Naturally, the thought of Ahsoka teaching Luke Skywalker or even better yet, telling him stories about his father Anakin Skywalker, hits me to the core. What an amazing opportunity that would be in connecting the Star Wars galaxy, binding it together in the deepest of ways.

Fan-art composed by amazing artist Angelus69Gitano says it all, doesn’t it?

Next: Did Ahsoka Tano train Luke Skywalker?

Lucasfilm, if you are listening, you know the Star Wars fandom wants this story, so make it happen. You even have a willing participant in Ashley Eckstein, and with Mark Hamill’s legendary voice acting work, it would be a perfect one-two punch.

Ashley Eckstein and Mark Hamill. Ahsoka Tano and Luke Skywalker, together at last — so we hope!
