The day is upon us! Tonight, Solo: A Star Wars Story drops and I could not be more excited for this spectacular addition the Star Wars universe in the origins story of Han Solo.
Among the most important things in a film is the score. It sets the tone for the entire film and creates the right mood for each individual scene.
As I sit here writing this, I am listening to the leaked version of Han Solo’s theme song and it is incredible! It is epic and playful all rolled into one which fits Han Solo’s character perfectly.
Though John Powell wrote the score for most of the film, John Williams did get to write the theme for Han Solo which is fitting since he composed the music for the Original Trilogy – the birthplace of Han Solo.
Thanks to Star Wars Leaks Subreddit user Onions_Burke, we have the theme of Han Solo known as Adventures of Han. Wasn’t it magnificent? John Williams still has it!
