The top three Star Wars items we want to see on Triple Force Friday
Ahead of one of the biggest Star Wars releases, LucasFilm has announced Triple Force Friday – a day filled with new toys, figurines and so much more.
If you’re looking to add to your Star Wars collection if toys, figurines and more, you don’t have to wait until Episode IX comes out in December.
No, you only have to wait until October.

LucasFilm announced Triple Force Friday is slated for October 4 this year. Much like in years past, this is the time for fans to get new toys geared to the newest films, but this year will also include items for The Mandalorian.
Here’s a list of the top three items I’m most looking forward to on Triple Force Friday.
1. The Mandalorian toys
I’m definitely excited for Star Wars: Episode IX to the point where I get butterflies thinking about how this amazing saga will end soon. I have a different type of excitement for The Mandalorian.
This is something brand new and shiny. There’s no backstory to go with and everything we see will be for the first time – with some Easter eggs thrown in for fans.
I have pretty high expectations for this show considering the names attached to it. I’m already betting that I will like it, which is why anything related to The Mandalorian will be high on my list for Triple Force Friday.
Also, I don’t know who Emily Swallow will be playing in The Mandalorian, but I am a fan of hers since Supernatural. So I hope there will be some goodies featuring her character headed our way.
2. Star Wars: Episode IX figurines
It’s only the biggest Star Wars event happening this year. Even with all the other things going on with new TV series, The Clone Wars returning, books and comics galore, nothing will touch Star Wars: Episode IX.
And even though we already have toys and figurines of Rey and Kylo Ren from The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, we are going to need more of them with Rey in her snowy white garb and Kylo Ren in his cracked and reformed helmet.
How else are we going to play out our best Reylo scenes?
But the real reason we are looking forward to items from Episode IX for Triple Force Friday? All the clues they might lead to.
Let’s get real – we are going to look at the toys and question Rey’s hairstyle, Poe’s clothing choices and hopefully get something related to the Knights of Ren.
3. The video game!
Of all the items we will get on — or near — Triple Force Friday none might get as much play out of it as the video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
This is one that fans have been waiting for a long time. And while it may not actually come out on October 4 because Disney gives it a “Holiday 2019″ release date,” we are still looking forward to it.
We need – no demand – a good Star Wars video game.
So while Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order might get a lot of play, it will get the most criticism as well. This game will be talked about and dissected from every angle.
And I still want to play it.
