Need more Star Wars info since Celebration? D23 could be just the place with more content coming to the biennual event.
This year’s D23 Expo will include a sneak peek at The Mandalorian and other upcoming Star Wars projects.
The biennial event —a celebration for Disney’s fan club — runs from Friday, Aug. 23 to Sunday, Aug. 25 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Friday will highlight Disney+ original content, including The Mandalorian and other upcoming projects.
Saturday, meanwhile, will include “a behind-the-scenes look” at future projects “from Disney to Marvel Studios to Star Wars.”
Exclusive footage and special guest appearances are also planned, and two actors with deep Star Wars connections, Jon Favreau and James Earl Jones, are being honored as Disney Legends, according to the AP.
Teaser footage from The Mandalorian was shown during Star Wars Celebration in April, and anticipation has only increased since then. Led by Favreau as creator, the cast is a talented one — including Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi and Werner Herzog.
The Mandalorian, set five years after Return of the Jedi, is set to debut in November.
The last D23 expo — held in 2017 — included behind-the-scenes footage and a panel discussion devoted to The Last Jedi, revelations about Galaxy’s Edge, and details about “porgs.”
Single-day tickets for Friday and Sunday are still available (tickets for Saturday are already sold out). More information on the expo and available tickets is available at D23Expo.com.
