Star Wars: Daisy Ridley denies she is in the next Star Wars trilogy
Rumors of Daisy Ridley’s future involvement in Star Wars got back to her and the actor has denied she will be in the next trilogy.
For a few days we hoped the latest Star Wars rumor was true, but Daisy Ridley has come out to say she will be not be in the next Star Wars trilogy.
In an interview with Buzzfeed’s AM to DM, Ridley was asked about her involvement in the franchise after The Rise of Skywalker. She actually seemed a little confused by the whole thing, but I bet she’s gotten good at hiding spoilers since her involvement with the franchise.

However, Ridley asked if the next trilogy was Rian’s (Johnson) or the “guys from Game of Thrones,” and then said:
"“I can say I’m not in the next trilogy. … Whichever one it was, they always said it was going to be a separate story.”"
If we could speculate – and I love speculating – Disney CEO Bob Iger said the next trilogy would be from David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.
AND, the rumors are that Benioff and Weiss’ trilogy is to take place during the Old Republic era, which takes place thousands of years before the current story of the sequel trilogy.
So, if go by what Ridley said that she is not in the next trilogy, it is obviously true since there would be no place for Rey in it
If Johnson’s story isn’t going to be told until much later, then she could still be telling the truth while leaving a part out. Having said that, we have no idea what Johnson’s Star Wars movie is about, the timeline it takes place and how it ties into the franchise as a whole
We do know Ridley is done with Star Wars for quite some time after Episode IX comes out, and that’s OK. She had a good run.
The Rise of Skywalker premieres worldwide on December 20.
