Another rumor was posted recently and it involved Lucasfilm is looking to ensure that Ahsoka Tano has a role in future Star Wars live-action projects.

While it has been rumored that the much beloved padawan from Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated TV show may make an appearance in one of the upcoming trilogies, it has yet to be determined which she may appear in.

We Got This Covered posted yet another “rumor” that Lucasfilm is looking to put Ahsoka Tano into its live-action projects.

However, considering that Benioff and Weiss’ trilogy is widely considered to be set in the Old Republic era, it seems most likely that if Ahsoka were to appear in one of the trilogies, she’d be found in Rian Johnson’s trilogy. Although we don’t know when that trilogy is supposed to take place, the speculation is that it is after The Rise of Skywalker.

That all being said, if the rumor were to be believed, it seems that Disney may also be considering the possibility of a live-action series centered on Ahsoka Tano for its upcoming Disney+ platform. While it has long been known that Disney has several live-action projects in the works for Disney+, until now it has been largely kept under wraps.

The idea of bringing Ahsoka Tano to live action has been around for quite awhile, with some actresses already gunning for the part. Rosario Dawson has explicitly stated that she would love to take on the role of Ahsoka, and a twitter movement in 2017 seemed to back her in her efforts to secure the role.

Dawson even went so far as discussing the potential role during an interview on Good Morning America..

Keep in mind, this is just a rumor. There is substance behind other than one website’s source. It’s one of those situations where we would have to see it to believe it.
