SDCC: What Star Wars panels will be featured at San Diego Comic-Con 2019?
Are you headed to San Diego Comic-Con? Check out the schedule of events to see all the Star Wars panels offered this year.
San Diego Comic-Con is one if the largest — if not the largest — gatherings of entertainment, pop culture and all things nerdy every year.
As always, Star Wars has a strong presence at SDCC with panels, the Lucasfilm Pavilion and more. Although even with Episode IX coming out later this year and The Mandalorian hitting Disney+ on day one, this year’s Star Wars contingent is a little light at SDCC.
More from Star Wars Events
- Seasons of the Force and new Star Tours coming to Disneyland
- Can you beat Dragon Con’s Star Wars Trivia challenge?
- Diary of a first-time Star Wars Celebration attendee
- Every Star Wars project still in development
- The opening crawl is coming back to Star Wars movies
There’s no Star Wars representation in the famed Hall H and no panels regarding any movies or TV shows. There are several panels that will certainly interest fans, but there is nothing showcasing any of them major releases this year — as of now.
Some of that will come at D23 where Disney has announced more info on The Mandalorian.
But don’t fret, there is still plenty for fans at SDCC to enjoy. Here is the SDCC schedule for Star Wars-related panels and events, so far, and we will update this if any information comes out.

Time: 3-4pm

This panel will look at the diversity and its inclusivity. While the panel seems to take on a positive tone mentioning Rose Rico, Poe Dameron, the cast of Rogue One and the recent announcement of Pablo Pascal as The Mandalorian, Lucasfilm still has a long way to go in front and behind the camera. Hopefully this panel will address those shortcomings too.
