Star Wars poll: Fans would prefer a Han Solo Disney+ series
In a recently released Star Wars Poll, a majority of fans state that they would prefer a Han Solo Disney+ Series over a movie sequel
With Alden Ehrenreich in the news this week stating in an interview with the Happy Sad Confused Podcast that he would be interested in reprising his Star Wars role as a young Han Solo, fans have already begun to speculate when and how we could see a return.
Rumors have also begun to circulate recently that Donald Glover could be reprising his role as a young Lando Calrissian, so there may be some legit fan interest in a follow up to Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Despite being the lowest grossing Star Wars Live Action Movie, Solo was regarded mostly positively by fans, and many have shown interest in the past of a sequel being created, with the petition and hashtag #MakeSolo2Happen being used to garner support.
With Solo back in the news, wegothiscovered.com ran a poll to gauge in what form fans would like to see a follow up to the movie, and the majority are in favor of a Disney+ series.
Specifically, the poll showed that of the votes, 40% (409 votes) prefer a Disney+ series while 23% (239 votes) are more interested in a theatrical sequel. 20% stated they are not interested in either and 12% said that Ehrenreich’s Han Solo would be better served as a side character in another project.
The majority of the votes clearly would prefer to see a Disney+ series, and with good reason. The Mandalorian series showed that even as a show on a streaming service, Star Wars can still be made at a high quality, and a series offers the chance for a more fleshed out and long form story telling.
While Solo may not have been the highest grossing movie, it definitely has its fans, and there clearly is an interest in seeing those characters return.
