Start getting excited about all the Star Wars The High Republic books and comic books that are expected to be released in 2021.

As we inch closer to 2021, we can start getting excited about all the new Star Wars content that will be released. Many items were delayed due to the pandemic and pushed to 2021, namely five of the new Star Wars The High Republic books and the first two issues of Star Wars The High Republic Marvel comics. Thankfully, they were rescheduled to be published in the new year, many even early 2021, so now we can finally start anticipating their arrival.
Star Wars: Light of the Jedi by Charles Soule; $21
Explore the golden age of the Republic long before the Skywalker era as the Jedi start to uncover different corners of the galaxy. There is peace under the Senate, until a catastrophe strikes and tests the powers of the Jedi and the Force. This book ($21) will be released on January 5, 2021.

Star Wars The High Republic: A Test of Courage by Justina Ireland; $12
This middle-grade book ($12) being released on January 5, 2021 follows newly-knighted Jedi Vernestra Rwoh on her first assignment, basically babysitting an inventor named Avon Starros headed to Starlight Beacon. How will Vernestra handle when the cruiser transporting them starts to combust and she needs to create an escape plan.

Star Wars The High Republic: Into the Dark by Claudia Grey; $14
Padawan Reath Silas is unhappy that he is being sent to the frontier since he would prefer to pour over the archives at the Jedi Temple. As he starts his journey to his new post, disaster strikes and he must escape even to somewhere that might be dangerous. This book ($14) will be released on February 2, 2021.

Star Wars: The Rising Storm by Cavan Scott; $28
This book ($28) will be released on June 29, 2021 so sadly there is little known about it. However, the description on Amazon does say that this novel is a continuation of the adventures of the Jedi of the High Republic. I guess you’ll have to read Into the Dark and wait to see what happens.

Star Wars The High Republic: The Great Jedi Rescue by Cavan Scott; $5
This early reader’s book ($5), which will be released on January 5, 2021, will get children ages five to eight interested in the Star Wars universe as they follow the people of Hetzal Prime as they try to evade danger with the help of the Jedi of the High Republic.

Star Wars: The High Republic Marvel Comics; $4 per issue
This six issue comic book series is set hundreds of years before Luke, Leia, and Han Solo get on the scene. During these issues, you’ll follow Padawan Keeve Trennis as she decides if she will complete her Jedi Trials or help others in need. There are new ships, enemies, and adventures to uncover in these six issues of the new comic book series from Marvel. The first issue ($4) will be released on January 6, 2021, and the second issue ($4) will be released on February 3.

Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures #1; $4
Discover this graphic novel set 200 years before the time of Luke, Leia, and Han Solo. Follow a group of young padawans being trained under Master Yoda as they try to protect the Republic from a new enemy, Nihil. This book ($4) will be released on February 24, 2021.
