Hang on tight to your blasters and lightsabers, because we’re plotting a course to J-19 on Star Wars: The Bad Batch! The premiere episode of the animated Clone Wars spinoff series debuted on Disney Plus just in time for Star Wars Day on May 4, and fans both new and old are excited to see how the first season will play out. We recently got confirmation that the first season will run for 16 episodes, meaning it’ll go through August! I hope I speak for everyone when I say I’m ready for a Star Wars spring and summer!

Now that The Bad Batch premiere is out of the way, you might be wondering what the official release schedule looks like. Of course, the first episode was released on a Wednesday to commemorate May the Fourth, but the rest of the season will be moved to a different day. Most Disney Plus shows are known to drop on Fridays, so is this the case with the latest Star Wars series?

When is the next episode of The Bad Batch?

Yes, this is the case! The Bad Batch will premiere new episodes every Friday, meaning episode 2 will be released tomorrow, May 7. It is expected to come out at its usual time of 12:01 a.m. PT / 3:01 a.m. ET. Whether you’re planning to stay up late tonight to tune in or sometime tomorrow, we’re sure it’ll be a fun watch party!

Interestingly enough, it was just reported this week that Loki, the upcoming Marvel series all about the God of Mischief, will be released on Disney Plus on Wednesdays once it premieres this June. This is likely because The Bad Batch has claimed the Friday spot and will be running for most of the summer. You can catch the debut episode of Loki on June 9.

And don’t miss new episodes of The Bad Batch every Friday on Disney Plus.
