A recent tweet from The Mandalorian cast member Ming-Na Wen has given Star Wars fans a hint at the future of the upcoming spinoff series The Book of Boba Fett.
We now know that production on the series has wrapped, but what we didn’t know is whether or not the show would be receiving a second season. Thanks to Wen’s tweet, we may have just received unofficial confirmation that the show is indeed going ahead with a second season.
The tweet shows Wen handling some Boba Fett and Fennec Shand-themed merchandise with the distinct logo saying “The Book of Boba Fett S.1.” It would be unusual for a limited series to have the seasonal distinction (i.e., “S.1” meaning “season 1”), so the implication of a potential second season is now very much in full view.

The Fennec Shand actress gives clues about the future of Star Wars
The Mandalorian was already confirmed for a second season before the first even aired. Although the new Fett series will not be released until later this year, an official announcement regarding the future of the series can’t be too far away.
Ming-Na Wen’s character Fennec Shand has recently received a boost in popularity with the character appearing in a recent episode of the ongoing animated Star Wars show The Bad Batch in which Wen reprised her role in a voice acting capacity. The actress should feel right at home in the recording booth as she was also the voice of the original Mulan back in 1998!
So far, only Temuera Morrison and Wen herself have been confirmed for the new Fett series but with this pair of high-caliber mercenaries taking center stage, we can guess that many familiar bounty hunters will be making appearances in the new show as well
