The Bad Batch season 1 episode 9 live stream: Watch online
With last week’s episode “Reunion,” Star Wars: The Bad Batch is officially at the halfway mark and growing closer to more pivotal storytelling.
As the title indicates, Clone Troop 99 was reunited with none other than infamous bounty hunter Cad Bane, as the price on Omega’s head continued to climb. Unfortunately for the sweet, oddball family, Omega was captured, leaving the Bad Batch to scramble and find a way to save her.
With eight episodes still left to go, Disney has released a new trailer previewing the rest of the season. Take a look at the midseason sneak peek below:
With thumping music, the trailer reiterates the themes we’ve seen so far this season. Clone Troop 99 will be forced to choose a side between working for the Empire or helping the Rebellion, no matter how much they want to stay neutral.
Meanwhile, Crosshair is still looming large and the Bad Batch still don’t understand why Omega is so valuable. Will they be able to bring Crosshair back into the fold and remove his chip? Can they rescue Omega and unfold the plot that seeks to hold her captive?
It’s hard to say. Like The Clone Wars before it, The Bad Batch seems to be focused on the tragic outcome of the destruction of the Empire, specifically with the Clones. While Star Wars is about hope, it’s also about loss, and there may yet be more tragedy ahead.
Needless to say, you’ll have to tune in to find out.
