At Star Wars Celebration we got plenty of news about upcoming Star Wars shows, including the trailer for season two of The Bad Batch.

Since the conclusion of Season 1 last fall, fans have been eagerly awaiting news about the return of the show. Continuing the adventures of Clone Force 99, season two looks to feature a lot of exciting faces both old and new. However, the trailer only started that the show would be returning this fall, with no additional information being provided.

But thanks to One Take News, we now know that it will be returning on Wednesday, September 28th. This means that it will overlap with the sixth episode of Andor, meaning for a little bit we will have two Star Wars shows to watch each week.

And what’s more, with Tales of the Jedi being confirmed for this fall, it’s also likely that it will also release while season two of The Bad Batch is still airing.

This is very interesting given the fact that Disney has tried to separate their shows in the past but only time will tell what exactly will release when. But Disney has quickly removed this date from Disney+ so it is unknown if this date will remain the premiere day or not. Still, this fall is coming up fast and Disney will likely reveal more official details soon.

From what we know so far, the upcoming season of The Bad Batch will feature characters old and new, but it’s the familiar characters such as Clone Commander Cody and former Jedi Padawan Gungi that have Star Wars fans the most intrigued. The return of Captain Rex also means there might be even more connections to characters from other animated shows. Thankfully, the wait for Season 2 isn’t long now.
