Warning: This article contains spoilers from Obi-Wan Kenobi Episodes 4.

The most recent episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi have covered a lot about the new concept of The Path. This Path has been a central point of contention between the inquisitors hunting the Jedi, and the Jedi or Force Sensitives trying to escape.

Given that we have never seen it before in Star Wars canon, that raises the question of who would be involved in this Path. While we do hear Quinlan Vos’s name mentioned, it seems more likely that Jedi: Fallen Order‘s Cal Kestis has been busy since we first met him.

The first Fallen Order game is set five years before the event of Obi-Wan Kenobi, and the next game, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, is set almost exactly at the same time as Obi-Wan Kenobi. Both Jedi Survivor and Obi-Wan Kenobi are set 10 years after the events of Order 66. So what has Cal Kestis been doing over the last five years and why is he in an ideal position to have created the path.

Last we saw Cal, he was trying to save the future of the Jedi Order by finding the list of all force-sensitive children in the galaxy and he was successful in this endeavor. While he did not end up keeping this list, why not create a way for other Younglings or Force-Sensitive to escape from the Empire? Cal’s Journey has been centered on youngling and he has the crew of the Mantis to assist him in his attempts to save more Jedi.

It simply seems too convenient of a timeline for these two shows to not have some sort of link, and given the storyline of Fallen Order, it simply makes sense.

We might get some sort of confirmation of that inside of Obi-Wan Kenobi, but if not we may have to wait for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
