Jon Favreau unveiled the upcoming Star Wars attraction at Galaxy's Edge during "The Future of World-Building" panel at SXSW, and it's none other than a Mandalorian and Grogu adventure as part of the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run ride at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

The adventure begins on May 22, 2026, when The Mandalorian and Grogu premieres in theaters worldwide. The panel unveiled concept art for the ride, based on the story shared by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni with the creative team behind Smuggler's Run. The artwork includes a rendering of Cloud City, featuring the Razor Crest and Millennium Falcon. Other artwork shows the ruins of the second Death Star and Tatooine.

Although the concept art for the ride doesn't necessarily confirm what to expect from the movie, it's possible the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run adventure is connected to the movie's plot, which is why it starts the same day as the movie's premiere. Does this mean Din Djarin and Grogu might visit the locations depicted in the concept art and a visit to Bespin and the Endor system, or the ruins of the second Death Star on the cards for The Mandalorian and Grogu?

Cloud City is one of the most stunning locations from the original trilogy, and seeing it again will be no less than a treat for fans of all ages. While this doesn't confirm Bespin's return, there has to be a connection to the movie's plot, or it wouldn't have been featured in Smuggler's Run. Other concept art includes the ruins of the second Death Star and Tatooine. Tatooine is an oft-visited planet in The Mandalorian, but the second Death Star will be a new and intriguing addition to the movie, should it appear.

Footage from The Mandalorian and Grogu at D23 included a scene of Din and Grogu aboard a Razor Crest piloted by Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios from Star Wars Rebels. Most fans assumed it belonged to Zeb, but with the ship included in concept art for the new Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run adventure, it seems like Din will get it back. Perhaps Peli Motto will hook him up with a brand-new Razor Crest. During The Book of Boba Fett, Djarin requested Motto to get him a new Razor Crest to replace his old one, but she persuaded him to accept a refurbished N1 Starfighter instead.

This could mean Din will now use two ships instead of one and keep the N1 for high-stakes missions where he needs a speedy and reliable ride. The Razor Crest can serve as his and Grogu's home on bounty-hunting missions as the duo helps track down Imperial Remnants for the New Republic.

The Mandalorian is streaming on Disney+, and The Mandalorian and Grogu premieres May 22, 2026.
