Skeleton Crew begins streaming on December 3 on Disney+, and Jude Law shared exciting details with People Magazine on what's in store in the brand-new series.

Law described the show as "joyful" and added that it's "very much a piece about working together and overcoming fears and overcoming...perhaps [one's] opinion of oneself or one's own weaknesses in order to succeed."

Here are 5 things to look forward to in Skeleton Crew.

1. Lots of great references to the Original Trilogy

Law promises fans that Skeleton Crew will be full of Easter Eggs and offer plenty of goodies for hardcore Star Wars fans to look forward to. Jude Law revealed that the creative team behind the series put a lot of effort into details that pay homage to the films, and "That's one of the joys I think of this universe for those who know there are these little details always hidden away or Easter eggs that people can find and link up." If you're a long-time Star Wars fan, expect to have a lot of Easter Eggs to sink your teeth into.

2. A change of tone

In contrast to the dark, mysterious tone of The Acolyte, Jude Law describes Skeleton Crew as a "joyful" series. This fresh take on the Star Wars galaxy follows a group of young adventurers, joined by Law's charismatic Force user character, as they explore strange new worlds and encounter unexpected challenges. The show promises a lighter, more uplifting perspective on Star Wars, offering a thrilling and heartwarming ride for fans of all ages.

3. Great chemistry between all the characters

According to Jon Watts and Christopher Ford, Jude Law, who plays the role of Jod Na Nawood in the series, formed a great bond with his young co-stars. Law praised his co-stars, including Ravi Cabot-Conyers (Wim), Kyriana Kratter (KB), Robert Timothy Smith (Neel), and Ryan Kiera Armstrong (Fern), as "fun and incredibly professional." Watts and Ford praised Law's relationship with the young stars of Skeleton Crew and said he became an acting coach and mentor to them all. Such a great off-screen rapport will surely be reflected on screen, too.

4. A new droid named SM 33

You can't make good Star Wars without endearing droids, and in the case of Skeleton Crew, SM 33, voiced by Nick Frost, will be the old and cranky droid who reluctantly helps the kids during their adventures. Like R2-D2, Chopper, IG-11, K-2SO, and B2-EMO, SM 33 will hopefully join a long list of memorable and lovable Star Wars droids!

5. Hoverbikes

Jon Watts and Christopher Ford said hoverbikes were crucial to the story, but creating the hoverbike sequences was so much fun that the kids couldn't stop smiling. Adding hoverbikes should mean an exciting ride for everyone and add a fun element to the classic childhood adventure story the show promises to be.
