New details emerge about Young Jedi Adventures season 2
Season 2 of Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures was recently announced, and StarWars.com has shared more details about the next entry into the series, like a brand new padawan joining the crew, new missions, and more, including a first look at what Kai Brightstar, Lys Solay, and Nubs will be up to next. Along with this, four shorts called Fun With Nubs are available today on Star Wars Kids YouTube Channel.
While the first part of the season will arrive on Disney+ and Disney Junior on August 14, the second half of the season is confirmed to come sometime in early 2025. As Kai (Jecobi Swain), Lys (Juliet Donenfeld), and Nubs (Dee Bradley Baker) continue their training, they are given new and bigger missions. Part of the first look is the three younglings in their mission robes. However, they're not facing this alone. Their teacher, Jedi Master Zia Zanna (Nasim Pedrad), has taken on a padawan. His name is Wes Vinik, and along with his droid, R0-M1, the team is growing. Back also is their friend Nash Durango (Emma Berman) and Master Yoda (Piotr Michael) to support our youngling trio.
StarWars.com also confirms that we haven't seen the last of their rival, Taborr, and his gang, confirming that his voice actor Trey Murphy is returning. There have also been early reports that we haven't seen the last of Raxlo, the Gozzo hustler who honestly just wants to pay his bills but these dang Jedi kids keep ruining his schemes. Young Jedi Adventure storyboard artist Christina Mijares-Doung confirmed in May that Raxlo's voice actor, Haley Joel-Osment, had recorded lines for Season 2 while sharing artwork celebrating it.
Along with these details, StarWars.com shared a first look at Season 2 through a series of new images.
Young Jedi Adventures Season 2 will be back on August 14 on Disney+ and Disney Jr. You can see the Fun With Nubs shorts now on Star Wars Kids YouTube Channel.
