Dr. Emerie's growth as a person has been a big part of The Bad Batch Season 3, but her biggest move might be coming at the end of the season.

Emerie started as a cold imperial scientist, reserved and well-mannered, but she has observed a lot happening within the confines of Mount Tantiss, which has left an indelible mark on her. Omega has brought out Emerie's humanity, and her reaction to the "specimens" in Episode 10, "Identity Crisis," shows that she's planning to do something big.

Emerie's conversation with Nala Se puts her thoughts into greater focus as she seems disgusted with the way children are being treated for the sake of Project Necromancer. She tries to blame Nala Se for the way things are, who reminds Emerie that this is the Empire's doing. They're all being used by the Empire, especially the children. However, Emerie has the authority to do something about it now, and Nala-Se doesn't. The ball is now in Dr. Karr's court and her actions after this conversation are indicative of where this is headed.

Whatever Emerie decides to do next will undoubtedly be connected to Omega's return to Tantiss, followed by her brothers, who are most certainly coming after her. Things are about to get very complicated from here. Emerie appears to want to free the children that the Empire is holding captive at Tantiss, and Omega might be the one to help her do it. There's also the matter of the clones at the facility that Clone Force 99, Rex, and Echo all want to free. There's a good chance that Emerie will help free them as well.

Maybe Emerie's purpose as a character is to help free all her fellow clones. She's been treated differently for most of her life because Hemlock saw potential in her. During this season, she's realized that she's no different than someone like Omega. She has no family and her path in life was decided for her. Now, Emerie has an opportunity to choose how she wants all this to end.

Omega's influence has done a lot for Emerie by softening her heart and helping her see the children at Tantiss as more than "specimens." She was once just like them, and perhaps now, she realizes she could've had a very different life away from the Empire. She's probably planning something, and we'll see it come to fruition soon before the show ends.
