Star Wars: The Bad Batch, Season 3, episode 9, “The Harbinger,” just sounds like an episode for a specific cameo, doesn’t it?

The last few weeks have done a lot of setup for the back half of the season. Clone Force 99 has been tasked with discovering why Omega is so important. Doctor Royce Hemlock has all the resources from the Empire to find her. Bounty hunter Fennec Shand knows the Batch is investigating M-counts and ended the last episode, outing them to a mysterious person. While there is a lot of speculation about who that mystery person is, a title like “The Harbinger” feels like it could be someone in particular. Someone important. Someone who might have been featured in the Season 3 trailer. With only seven episodes left, it feels like it’s about time to finally bring in Asajj Ventress.

We’ll have to see what Wednesday brings to fans and what the episode will be about.
