With just a little over a month to go before the premiere of Star Wars: Andor Season 2 on Disney+, we're finally seeing the pre-show promotion pick up speed. The official trailer for the final installment of the series already has fans hyped, but the show's creators and distributors are doing everything they can to kick things up a notch.
Series writer and showrunner Tony Gilroy -- and guests -- will be hosting a live stream event this Thursday at 12 pm PT / 3 pm ET. As announced on StarWars.com, the stream will feature key moments from the show's first season with new insights from Gilroy and others. It will be a great way to refresh your memory before the new season next month. But don't worry -- this event isn't exclusive to Disney+ subscribers.
In fact, it will stream live on YouTube not just on the official Star Wars channel, but also simultaneously on the official channels for Hulu, Disney+, and Lucasfilm. So even if you aren't currently subscribed to the streaming service where Season 2 will drop in April, you can still join the stream and view it along with all your fellow Andor enthusiasts.
Fans are absolutely buzzing about what's to come for the rest of this series, and not just because it's the final of the series' two complete seasons. It's also bound to be an action-packed, thrilling adventure that will lead up to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. So not only will we be revisiting Season 1 and devouring Season 2 week to week, but we'll also definitely be rewatching Cassian's final chapter in movie form directly after. We're all crying, it's fine.
It's been a while since these first 12 episodes dropped, so a quick recap and refresher will be more than welcome. Gilroy did great work with Andor's first season, and there's no doubt he'll exceed all our expectations with these final 12 episodes.
Star Wars Andor: Season 2 premieres with its first three episodes on April 22 exclusively on Disney+.
