Star Wars: The Force Awakens Watches Found on eBay

The approach of Force Friday and the arrival of a new line of Star Wars: The Force Awakens– themed products has resulted in several early leaks, including action figure lists, Kylo Ren packaging, and even playing cards. Now, children’s watches can be added to the list.
Making Star Wars found an eBay listing for the watches yesterday. Though they were very shortly sold out (and at an exorbitant price), they will probably show up in stores on September 4th.
There are three watches, each a different theme. One is BB-8, one is the new Stormtrooper, and the other is Kylo Ren. Check out pictures of them below.

I really like the artwork on the containers these watches are in. The art on the Kylo Ren container was leaked in promotional art found at Star Wars Celebration. I also like that they made the BB-8 container look like the droid from top to bottom.
I think Disney and Lucasfilm chose the best characters for marketing; the Stormtrooper is a classic figure in Star Wars promotions, and BB-8 and Kylo Ren are already iconic. I can’t wait to see what other kinds of products they’re featured on. Seeing the variety of new Star Wars products that have already leaked has gone me ecstatic. I would totally buy the BB-8 and Kylo Ren watches, and am looking forward to whatever else Disney has planned. That’s another great thing about Disney having control of such a big franchise; the marketing push is even bigger, and the number of themed products huge and varied. And some of those products are cool, like these watches!
