According to our partners at Entertainment Weekly, production on Star Wars: Episode IX has begun, as well. We’ve been reporting that the city of Dubrovnik in Croatia has been preparing to film scenes at night, and at first we were told by website MosCroatia that Daisy Ridley would be there as Rey, although the actress has denied those claims (It is important to note that actors deny claims of location shoots all the time to keep them secret). However, it does in fact seem as if Dubrovnik will be the first place where major scenes for Star Wars: Episode VIII will be shot first (like Han).

In other news, EW is reporting that South by Southwest festival-goers will get a first look at the Star Wars: The Force Awakens making-of documentary, before it’s released as a bonus feature with The Force Awakens on Blu-ray/DVD. Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released on Blu-ray/DVD on April 5th, and digital download April 1st.

"“Secrets of The Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey will make its world premiere during this year’s SXSW. The feature-length documentary takes a deep dive into how the cast and crew brought the highest-grossing movie of all time to life, with exclusive footage and interviews with the actors and filmmakers.”"
