How Long is Rogue One?

Thanks to the Hollywood Red Carpet Premiere of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story on Saturday night, we now know the answer to the question: How long is Rogue One?

Four days, everyone! We are a mere four days from the worldwide premiere of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and since the Hollywood Red Carpet Premiere of the film on Saturday night, December 10, we’ve got a few confirmations on some important questions, like — How long is Rogue One? Well, the film runs for 138 minutes, or, two hours and 18 minutes.

The runtime for Rogue One was revealed by those who saw the film on Saturday night, and along with some minor tidbits of information, those in attendance had nothing by praise for Gareth Edwards’ standalone Star Wars film.

Entertainment Weekly’s own Anthony Breznican was in attendance at the Hollywood premiere, and he had this to say about Rogue One:

Including this bit regarding Darth Vader’s role in Rogue One, which absolutely has us on pins and needles until we see the film on Friday:

What we do know of Darth Vader’s role in the film is sporadic at best. We know that legendary actor James Earl Jones is returning to the role of Vader’s voice, and we have heard other rumors as well, including this clue as to the mystery of the bacta-tank scene in the first trailer, to which Breznican does reference in his tweets:
