The Last Jedi: 15 brand-new images released
The Last Jedi has been thoroughly promoted by Entertainment Weekly over the last several months. That trend continues, with more information and photos releasing…
Entertainment Weekly, specifically Anthony Breznican, have been insanely busy covering Star Wars: The Last Jedi over the past several months.
We can thank the Maker for their behind the access and fresh perspective, where Entertainment Weekly has found the balance of showing off cool reveals, without spoiling anything major.
Continuing with that trend, we’ve been provided with four new magazine covers and material, including detailed information on major players within the upcoming film.
Included within that coverage, we now have 15 official HD images — feel free to click on them and use them as your favorite phone backgrounds and wallpaper — some we’ve seen via footage, and other fresh ones that will be sure to brighten your day.
The featured images do not mess around, providing us with these early Christmas goodies.
Rey is featured (surprise surprise) who will no doubt face some new challenges in The Last Jedi.
Once a lonely scavenger, she will now undertake training from a (reluctant) Luke Skywalker, no doubt a rematch with Kylo Ren, as well as be tempted and who knows what else from Supreme Leader Snoke. Speaking of the Supreme Leader, he doesn’t look too happy with Hux here, but more on that in a later post.

Back to the “Lighter” side of things with Luke Skywalker. Watching Luke overlook Rey’s lightsaber training gives me chills. Don’t mention the image of him inside of the Falcon. My geek heart cannot take any more of that.
We are also given a familiar image of Kylo Ren, but you may also notice him with Rey inside of Snoke’s throne room. The possibilities on what could be going on inside of that sinister location are endless, but it cannot bode well for Rey. Unless, Luke Skywalker returns to his heroes ways, saving the day!

Shifting gears, we see a familiar image of the First Order’s array of battle vehicles, which we received during the latest trailer and other TV Spots. Did you ever notice who/what is leading the charge? That’s right, that is Kylo Ren and his Upsilon-class command shuttle.
The Millenium Falcon in hyperspace never gets old, while we see a brighter side of Finn, who appears to be somewhat happy for once.
Leia and Poe are no doubt are going to have a mother and son style relationship — jealous Kylo? Admiral Holdo is a character we first learn about in the Leia: Princess of Alderaan novel, who will be portrayed honorably by Lauren Dern.
Lastly, see the quartet of covers that we’ve already discussed. My favorite is, of course, the duo of Mark Hamill and our beloved princess Carrie Fisher. A close second is Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver, who will be a nice light/dark combo in The Last Jedi.

Speaking of which, Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits the big screen December 15, just weeks away now.
