Is Kylo Ren entirely consumed by the Dark Side, or is there hope for the man once called Ben Solo?
With The Force Awakens releasing to the public in the year of 2015, other than being the newest installment in the Star Wars timeline, it also ushered in brand new characters. Rey, Finn, and Kylo Ren being the big three just like Luke, Han and Leia were back in 1977.
The only difference in these three and the original three is one of them is a bad guy. Kylo Ren, also known as Ben Solo the son of Han and Leia is the new villain of the saga.
At the end of The Force Awakens, fans are left with a different view of Kylo. Yes, he claims to be a bad guy and side with Supreme Leader Snoke. Yet, as Han attempts to bring his son back to the light, we see a visible look of brokenness, reluctance, and sadness.
With a character voicing his opposition to the light, but whenever it comes time to commit to killing his father he almost can’t do it, which would seem to some that he genuinely hasn’t picked a side yet.
Now, with Star Wars: The Last Jedi coming out soon, we have been able to see what the characters look like in the new movie and Kylo Ren hasn’t disappointed.
From the scar given to him by Rey and the look of determination on his face, he looks like a changed man.
If this image of Kylo Ren, with these Dark Side looking eyes, is from The Last Jedi, then game on.
One thing I have noticed about Kylo’s expression is that he seems to have the look of a man who has purged himself of emotion, successfully killing of his humanity.

Being able to do that might just be able to allow him to become the Sith he wants to be.
Since he and his Master, Snoke, are not Sith, Kylo Ren will he finish what his grandfather started, bringing back the Sith Order in the process?
Seeing a Dark Side apprentice kill his teacher would be amazing to see on screen finally. Hopefully, it goes down.
The closest we got to that was in Revenge of the Sith when Palpatine ordered Anakin to kill his Sith apprentice, Count Dooku.
Will Kylo Ren stay on the path to the Dark Side or will Rey, Luke, or Leia be able to bring him back?
