The future for the Resistance after Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

**SPOILER ALERT for The Last Jedi**

With the devastation of losing almost everything in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the Resistance is now finally able to take a breath. After being chased by the First Order for the entirety of the movie, the rebels (once again) are now able to find a planet in which they can rebuild and reorganize.

With General Organa, Poe Dameron and Rey at the helm, the now rebels have a fighting chance. The loss of Snoke and his personal ship also play huge roles into that.

But with the rise of Kylo, will the First Order have even more of a resolve to destroy the Resistance?

With only the Falcon in the Resistance armada, what is their next step in the course of action? What’s going to be the number one problem they solve?

They are going to need numbers, ships, supplies, etc. they have a laundry list of things to get done.

They also have to get these problems solved while also staying under the radar of the First Order.

With Kylo Ren at the helm, that’s not going to be easy. The vengeance he has for them will be the fire that drives him to find and vanquish them once and for all.

The answer is Rey and any Force users she decides to train. The Jedi and the Light Side of the Force are the spark that will bring the First Order down.

And, who knows, maybe with some guidance from Luke Skywalker — and others — from the netherworld of the Force.

The odds aren’t in their favor but don’t tell the Resistance the odds (RIP Han Solo). General Leia has been here and done this before. If anyone can get them out of this cosmic hole they are in, it is her. All we can do now is await the next Star Wars installment to see what is in store for them.
