Confirmed: A 45-second Solo: A Star Wars Story trailer will play during the Super Bowl
Get ready to make the Kessel Run in less than12 parsecs during the Super Bowl tonight, as a teaser for Solo: A Star Wars Story will air!
After months of speculation, we can finally put this rumor to rest, as Jason Ward from Making Star Wars has provided proof that Disney has a 45-second slot for a teaser of Solo: A Star Wars Story. In a tweet today, Ward revealed a look at an ad schedule for the Super Bowl, and listed is the information we’ve all been looking for. Check it out:

As you can see, it appears as if the teaser will happen in the second quarter of the game, and will be 45 seconds in length. This is exciting news, as fans were worried Disney would pass up a chance to market the second Star Wars standalone film during the NFL’s biggest night, in front of millions of people.
Also, Solo: A Star Wars Story will hit theaters in 4 months (give or take a day or two) and there has been absolutely zero marketing for the film up to this point.
If you think the 45 seconds is too short, don’t worry, as Good Morning America is supposedly going to show an exclusive trailer for Solo. Why would Disney wait until the day after the Super Bowl to show a full-length trailer for its Star Wars film? Well, since Disney owns ABC and not NBC, and since NBC is charging a hefty $5 million per 30 seconds, it makes perfect sense it would want to reveal the whole trailer in all its glory on its own network.
