According to Star Wars rumors, our little green friend Yoda will share a scene with Star Wars heroine Rey.
Our little green friend Yoda stole the show during his “small” scene in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and it seems he’ll return for more fun in Star Wars: Episode IX as well.
An inside source close to New York Daily News revealed these juicy details on Yoda and his potential role in the next saga Star Wars film.
"“The success of the scenes featuring Yoda in ‘The Last Jedi’ were huge… Yoda will again appear as a ghost as he acknowledges Rey’s success and growth as a Jedi,” we hear. “The scenes are due to be put together later this year.”"
Keep in mind, these are rumors and take them with a grain of sand — I hate sand. But, if they are indeed correct, what a fantastic idea for Episode IX!
Yoda and Rey together? Yes, please! If valid, what an opportunity for Rey to complete her Jedi training in style? Maybe Rey will run, run, run, run; Yoda can be a backpack while she runs.

InThe Last Jedi, Yoda informs Luke that the girl Rey has everything she already needs. As always, Yoda is one step ahead of Luke, knowing that Rey had taken the ancient Jedi texts before the “Force tree” burnt down.
Yoda also could mean that Rey has the Force and a powerful ally it is. Through the Force, other places you can see; the past, the future — friends long gone.
The same rings true for Rey, who could use a visit from a friend long gone in Yoda. Incomplete was her training, and who better to complete it than Master Yoda.
On the flipside, what a twist it would be if Anakin Skywalker pays a visit to his grandson, Kylo Ren, begging him to return to the light? An Anakin appearance nearly happened in The Force Awakens, so why not for Episode IX?
The possibilities are endless and mirroring both Kylo Ren and Re once again; both with visitors from the netherworld of the Force would be epic.

Hopefully, this inside source is trustworthy and that Yoda and Rey will cross paths in Star Wars: Episode IX. Who knows, a Yoda standalone could be around the corner as well.
What a time to be alive and a Star Wars fan, huh?
