Solo: A Star Wars Story Twitter reactions say everything you need to know about the movie…

Solo: A Star Wars Story is finally here, and boy was it loads of fun. It was nowhere near as heavy as Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which is precisely what we needed this go around. Alden Ehrenreich made the character of Han Solo his own, while Donald Glover was suave as hell portraying Lando Calrissian.

The film had many twists a turns along the way while providing fan service that flowed well with the story. Don’t take my word for it, with a wide variety of fans sounding off on Twitter following their initial viewing of Solo: A Star Wars Story.

The majority opinion for the movie is highly favorable, which makes sense because a portion of the “fans” are boycotting the Han Solo standalone film.

Same here, Haroun. Same here. I wasn’t sure what to expect and was cautiously optimistic, but tremendously enjoyed this non-stop thrilling ride in a galaxy far, far away.

Spot on, Corey. Solo: A Star Wars Story (and Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo for that matter) stands on its own two feet. It does have a vibe from the old Legends adventures, which is exactly what the doctor ordered.

Lucasfilm hit the casting for Solo: A Star Wars Story out of the park.

Check your expectations at the door, indeed. The cameo referenced here will blow you away, showing the importance of the Star Wars extended canon universe — paying off tremendously for the hard-core fans.

The standalone Star Wars films are great compliments to the saga stories. I wouldn’t go as far to say they are the best aspects of Star Wars, but they are delivering the goods big time, for sure.

The tweet of the evening right here, summing up the film in a nutshell. Journeying alongside Han Solo will leave the Falcon all banged up (in a right way), allowing you to embrace why you fell in love with Star Wars a long, long time ago.
