Star Wars: Episode IX trailer expected in April
While this rumor is not about plot details, it’s still one that has been thrown around. The movie trailer is expected to finally arrive in April.
April seems like a good month and not just because the weather starts getting warmer. Star Wars Celebration – the biggest Star Wars event every year – takes place April 11-15.
While nothing has been announced yet, there will likely be a Star Wars: Episode IX panel (how can there not be?), and that’s when we get the big trailer reveal.
Star Wars has used conventions to make big announcements before, so this wouldn’t be anything out of the ordinary. They’ve shown full trailers, and most recently announced the return of The Clone Wars while at San Diego Comic-Con.
We’ve gotten plenty of red herrings – and strange tweets from Anthony Daniels – but this rumor finally feels legit, and we think that trailer for Star Wars: Episode IX will finally be revealed.
There are so many questions that still need to be answered, so we hope that the trailer will be able to answer some such as what role does Keri Russell play in Episode IX. We haven’t heard a peep about that and have heard every type of speculation from Mara Jade to a Knight of Ren.
Rumor level: Very high
This finally has come from pretty decent sources and it all make sense – especially after we didn’t get anything at the Super Bowl. Plus, with Avengers: Endgame coming out in theaters right after Star Wars Celebration, Disney gets to piggyback on the hype of that movie while promoting another one.
