Shin Hati actor Ivanna Sakhno has an encouraging update on Ahsoka Season 2, which is currently filming in London. Sakhno has been busy promoting her upcoming movie M3GAN 2.0, but she has been going back and forth between that and the filming of Ahsoka.

Sakhno was asked if she could reveal anything about Ahsoka, and as anyone would expect, she remained tight-lipped on what to expect. Via SWNN.Net, in a conversation with GamesRadar, she provided an encouraging update on how Season 2 is shaping up. Sakhno is thrilled to be back with the cast and revealed, "It’s such an exciting time for us to be back together, and we’re currently in the middle of filming."

“All I can say is that it is bigger and even more in-depth, and I’m really excited for people to see it. It means the world," she added.

Ahsoka season 2 will also feature the return of Rosario Dawson, Eman Esfandi, Natasha Liu-Bordizzo, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Hayden Christensen. In addition, Rory McCann joins the cast as Baylan Skoll, replacing the late Ray Stevenson. Stevenson passed away shortly before the premiere of Ahsoka, and the entire cast and crew honored Stevenson's incredible presence on set and his towering performance in various ways.

For Sakhno, this loss must feel personal, as Stevenson portrayed Shin's Master, who abandoned her towards the end of the season. Season 2 will show Shin, Ahsoka Tano, and Sabine Wren on Peridea, with Ezra Bridger back in the home galaxy. Bridger, Hera Syndulla, and Chopper saw each other after years in the show's finale. Although Ahsoka received mixed reviews, there are many reasons to look forward to season 2.

At Star Wars Celebration in Japan, Hayden Christensen confirmed he's returning as Anakin Skywalker in season 2, after he received a warm reception for his performance in Episode 5, "Shadow Warrior." Maybe after Ahsoka survived death and reunited with Skywalker in the World Between Worlds, her former Master can reconnect with her from the afterlife and help her navigate the challenges on Peridea. Perhaps, this is how Anakin will attain the rank of Master, and Ahsoka will complete her training and officially become a Jedi Knight.

Will Shin Hati succumb to the darkness that lurks on Peridea, or will she join Ahsoka and be saved from the same fate as Anakin? Sakhno's compelling performance has us rooting for her, but we'll have to wait until next year to find out when Ahsoka season 2 arrives on Disney+.
