Dark Horse Comics has become such a wonderful staple for all ages comics. From the current Bad Batch series to the upcoming Poe Dameron title, the publisher has been diving into different kinds of stories with a wide range of characters. Now, their next miniseries is out in July and it's all about our favorite 10-for-10 smiling aquatic Jedi Master, Kit Fisto.
Via Popverse, Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories — Tides of Terror features Fisto along with Mace Windu and Shaak Ti as they dive into an investigation of a research facility. This underwater center is quite controversial. However, the place is in danger of being crushed by giant sea monsters as well as being flooded. Down in the depths, Kisto and his Jedi allies must race to save the souls who could be washed away.

This book will see the return of George Mann, who has been killing it in The High Republic after wrapping up Echoes of Fear and, more recently, Hyperspace Stories: Qui-Gon all about Qui-Gon Jinn. The artists on Tides of Terror are Luis Morocco and Le Beau Underwood, and Michael Atiyeh is the colorist for the book.
Michael Siglain shared about the upcoming comic, "Following the success of The Bad Batch: Ghost Agents, we’re thrilled to see Dark Horse continue with their next Hyperspace Stories mini-series. Tides of Terror is part disaster story, part horror story, and all fun. It’s a race-against-time adventure in which the Jedi will face off against saboteurs and the sea creatures, and readers will learn to beware what lurks in the deep, dark ocean world of Tordus.”
I always enjoy the all ages titles when it comes to Star Wars Comics. They're always a ton of fun, and oftentimes, higher stakes than you would think they would have. When it's a franchise with the word "Wars" in the title, it's sometimes nice to have a lighter story being told.
Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories — Tides of Terror is out on July 16 at your local comic book store and on digital.
