Skeleton Crew's penultimate episode, "We're Gonna Be In So Much Trouble," offers an exciting setup for the show's finale. However, it also leaves us with a handful of questions that need to be answered next week to close out certain arcs and bring the show to a satisfying finish.

Here are 5 questions we have after Skeleton Crew episode 7, "We're Gonna Be In So Much Trouble."

1. Who is the Republic emissary?

It may be protocol, but I'm curious about the Republic's ambassadors who once had the clearance to come to At Attin and collect its treasures. It's obvious no one has been there in hundreds of years as the vaults are full to the brim, but once upon a time, At Attin had a busy landing port and must've been an important planet due to its wealth. Does it also have ties to the Knights of the Old Republic?

2. Will we ever see Jod's backstory?

Jude Law's comments about episode 7 gave fans hope that the focus would be on Jod's backstory. After episode 7, it seems doubtful that the series will delve into Jod's past with just one remaining episode. Though Jod's villainous turn was a bold twist, his character would be better served if his backstory was revealed. It would've added more depth and explained some of his behavior, especially toward the children.

3. What is Jod's fate?

With so much emphasis on Jod and his true nature in the latest episode, the question everyone has now is how this ends for him. The episode ends on a spinetingling cliffhanger as Jod ignites his lightsaber in front of the kids and their parents. Will Jod get the treasure he seeks, or will the Supervisor arrive in time and stop Jod? I have a sneaking suspicion the supervisor is Tak Rennod, and Jod's dreams of endless wealth will go down the drain in the next episode.

4. What is the purpose of At Attin's wealth, and who are they funding?

Someone will get their hands on At Attin's wealth. After all, they have hundreds of vaults full of Old Republic credits, and news travels fast. Does someone have vested interests in the planet, and if so, who is it? Does Grand Admiral Thrawn have his eyes on At Attin's credits, or will their treasure be used as fuel for the rise of the First Order?

5. How much longer will At Attin remain cut off from the galaxy and will the truth about At Attin be known to other worlds?

We know At Attin hasn't had contact with the outside world for hundreds of years. Although the exact number of years isn't clear, what is clear is they've been saved from several galactic conflicts. If that changes, the consequences of discovery will be far-reaching. Along with Jod, the fate of At Attin is the most intriguing aspect of the series.

The planet will probably play a pivotal role in the galaxy going forward, and the New Republic will have to turn its attention to it soon. I'm not sure if this is good news for the planet or its people, but it does appear that some people are about to get filthy rich.
