Episode 3 of Skeleton Crew, "Very Interesting, As An Astrogration Problem," unraveled more of the mystery around the planet of At Attin. Not just for the young protagonists, but their parents are also starting to notice things are not what they seem. Let's recap the end of the episode.

Skeleton Crew Season 1 Episode 3, "Very Interesting, As An Astrogration Problem" Ending Explained

After springing the group out of jail, Jod Na Nawood takes the kids to a secluded moon to meet his "friend," an owl woman named Kh'ymm. However, Kh'ymm calls the Republic ahead of time to warn them that "Crimson Jack" is at her home. She agrees to stall them as long as possible.

Kh'ymm is helpful, as she explains to the group why there is such a mystery around their homeworld of At Attin. It was one of nine planets considered one of the Jewels of the Old Republic, special planets that were protected and full of untold treasures. However, At Attin is the only one that hasn't been destroyed. It might have been hidden too well, as the kids are not aware of historical events in the universe like the Galactic Civil War and Alderaan being destroyed in A New Hope. Kh'ymm is able to deduce the location of their world.

Here, Jod realizes she's stalling, and on cue, the New Republic shows up in X-wings. He takes the datachip with At Attin's (possible) coordinates, shoots Kh'ymm's computer, and races out with all the kids except KB. A big part of the episode is focused on the children who are split on whether or not they actually trust Jod. KB tells Kh'ymm she doesn't, and Kh'ymm says the girl can call the owl lady if the children ever need help. KB then follows her friends.

Getting back to their ship, the kids force Jod to admit that he's not a Jedi. He admits he's lost just like them and agrees to help them get home. After a harrowing space battle, they escape the New Republic.

Skeleton Crew's mysteries around At Attin deepen

Back on At Attin, there are some developments with the children's parents. KB's moms, in particular, note that she's in danger. The young girl has a medical condition that could be a major plot point later on. Fern's mom, Fara, who is a low-level government official, tells the group that the Security Droids will find the kids.

However, when the mysterious Supervisor sends a Security Droid, it says they won't look for the kids as they illegally went beyond the Barrier that surrounds the planet. The parents, understandably, begin to scream at the droid. WIm's father, Wendle, sits back, holds his head, and looks incredibly worried for his missing son.
