The next Star Wars: Tales is coming to Disney+. Tales of the Underworld is out this week.
This season of the anthology season will follow bounty hunters Cad Bane and Asajj Ventress. The trailer teases that we will see Bane’s origin, including a childhood friend who has now become a marshal. A tense standoff seems to await the two. As for Ventress, the series will explore her return from the dead after the events of the novel Dark Disciple by Christie Golden. She will also become the mentor to a young Force user in a post-Order 66 timeline, protecting the young boy from an Inquisitor.
Star Wars: Tales has had two other previous anthology series. Tales of the Jedi focused on Count Dooku before he left the Jedi Order and Ahsoka Tano. Tales of the Empire was all about Barriss Offee and Morgan Elsbeth.
Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld sees Nika Futterman and Corey Burton reprise their roles as Asajj Ventress and Cad Bane, respectively. The series also stars Artt Butler, Lane Factor, AJ LoCascio, Clare Grant, Dawn-Lyen Gardner, and Eric Lopez.
