The real C-3PO, Anthony Daniels, will bring his golden fashion sense & tales of his experience in the galaxy far, far away to Star Wars Celebration Europe.

It was announced yesterday on the official Star Wars Celebration Europe Twitter page that Anthony Daniels, who played C-3PO in all seven Star Wars films and voiced him in The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, will be attending the event in London on July 15th-17th. All we know so far about his appearance is, per this week’s episode of The Star Wars Show, he will be interviewed on the main stage by this year’s celebrity host, Warwick Davis (who played Wicket the Ewok in Return of the Jedi), and will also be on hand to sign autographs.

Daniels joins an ever-growing list of guest Star Wars celebrities for this year’s Celebration, a list which includes Kathleen Kennedy and Gareth Edwards (who will host their own panel for Rogue One); the actors who played Boba Fett in the original trilogy and the prequel trilogy, respectively, Jeremy Bulloch and Daniel Logan; Star Wars Rebels and The Clone Wars director Dave Filoni; and Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Peter Mayhew, who along with Daniels may have wrapped up shooting on Episode VIII by the week of or after Celebration.

It seems, however, that the list of guests for Celebration Europe is small yet. There is room for surprise appearances, however. The Rogue One panel promises “special guests,” and any Episode VIII announcements could feature a special cameo from any of the new stars of the sequel trilogy or director Rian Johnson. Finally, Dave Filoni’s Star Wars Rebels panel may introduce the new voices in season three to Celebration attendees.

There is also plenty of time for more guest announcements, as Celebration Europe is still a month away. Keep checking Dork Side in the meantime for all the latest updates.
