Disney/Lucasfilm is releasing Star Wars: The Force Awakens on 3D Blu-Ray, this November 15, and thanks to a tweet from a BBC journalist, we now know what exactly will be included in the collector’s edition…

Website Jedi News recently caught a tweet from BBC News Entertainment Correspondent, Lizo Mzimba, who revealed the contents and runtime for the collector’s edition of Star Wars: The Force Awakens on 3D Blu-Ray.

As we’ve previously reported, The Force Awakens on 3D Blu-Ray will include a deleted scene featuring Unkar Plutt accosting Rey at Maz Kanata’s castle, as Chewbacca steps in, to Rey’s defense. As well, it will include audio commentary from J.J. Abrams, on the climatic fight between Rey and Kylo Ren, and the first meeting between Rey and Finn.

Here’s the tweet laying all the information out:

Jedi News notes here that the components list is made up of several separate components, and that since February 2001, the BBFC (British Board of Film Classificationhas measured each and every component separately.

In case you can’t read the fine print at the top of that tweet, here’s everything you need to know:

  • 00:00:13:16 Deleted Scene – Leia and the Resistance
  • 00:00:45:12 Deleted Scene – Unkar Plutt confronts Rey and Chewbacca at Maz Kanata’s castle
  • 02:12:22:22 Star Wars: The Force Awakens with audio commentary from J.J. Abrams
  • 00:03:50:22 Foley – A Sonic Tale featurette
  • 00:06:55:16 Sounds of the Resistance featurette
  • 00:06:09:15 Dressing the Galaxy featurette
  • 00:11:14:11 The Scavenger and the Stormtrooper — A Conversation with Daisy Ridley (Rey) and John Boyega (Finn)
  • 00:07:55:16 Inside the Armory featurette
  • 00:00:54:18 Deleted Scene — Tunnel Standoff

To get to listen to J.J. Abrams’ audio commentary while watching The Force Awakens, is nearly worth the price, alone ($35). Also, getting to see Chewie rip Unkar Plutt’s arms out of his socket, like he did in the novel, is going to be quite fun. Never poke a Wookiee!
