Are we going to see a third Death Star in The Last Jedi?
A new Force Friday II toy release for The Last Jedi reveals an image of the Death Star…
Force Friday II has been chugging ahead full-steam, featuring midnight toy releases, with Funko Pop bobbleheads, action figures, virtual reality experiences, trendy clothing, and much, much more.
On the cover of one of the most recent toy releases, we see an image of what is clearly the dreaded Death Star. Star Wars Radar was kind enough to post this image to Twitter:

From this picture, it’s difficult to tell which version of the super-weapon is on display, but it does raise some slight concerns for the upcoming film. Are we going to have yet another Death Star, this time in The Last Jedi?
After two variations of the ultimate weapon, in A New Hope and Return of the Jedi, The Force Awakens included the third installment of a planet-killer, as well.
Starkiller Base was really the only major problem I had with Episode VII, but I gave it a free pass when I learned that it (highly likely) was the former Jedi pilgrimage world of Illum, which has connections to Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Personally, I believe that this toy-box reveals absolutely nothing and that we can take Rian Johnson at his word, that these Force Friday II toy releases will not have any spoilers for The Last Jedi.

Lucasfilm would not add yet another Death Star-like weapon for Episode VIII, would it? Find out for sure, when The Last Jedi hits theaters this Christmas season, December 15.
