Star Wars rumors: Boba Fett on the set of Solo: A Star Wars Story?

Star Wars rumors circulate that Boba Fett may have been on the set of Solo: A Star Wars story.

As we usher in the new year, The Last Jedi no doubt has our hearts full of Christmas cheer – for must of us that is. Star Wars has no plans of slowing down anytime soon, with the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story set for a May 25, 2018, release.

The most prominent concern is if Alden Ehrenreich will be able to fill the shoes of the legendary Harrison Ford’s Han Solo, which is no easy feat.

Lando Calrissian, played by the versatile Donald Glover this time around, is sure to steal the show. But, what other legendary Star Wars characters will play a role in the Solo film?

Star Wars rumors for Solo have surfaced, with the legendary Bounty Hunter allegedly spotted on the set of the film.

If true, who are the prime candidates to play the “son” of Jango Fett? The frontrunner, no doubt, would be Temuera Morrison, who played Jango Fett and was the clone template for the prequel trilogy.

Morrison recently expressed interest in playing Clonetrooper Captain Rex, so this would make total sense. Plus, in the revised editions of the Original Trilogy, Lucasfilm inserted Morrison’s voice for all of Boba Fett’s lines.

A “sleeper” pick would be John Hamm — known primarily for his role as Don Draper in the hit series Madmen.

Hamm voiced the legendary Boba Fett in the audio version of the novel From A Certain Point of View.

Naturally, he rocked the part, paying great honor to Boba Fett in the process.

No matter who ends up playing Boba Fett, if those rumors are correct, it no doubt adds some spice Solo, met with a significant amount of resistance from Star Wars fans.

Also, Lucasfilm may be giving Boba Fett an audition of sorts, gauging the reaction of fans of the character in determining if the Bounty Hunter will receive a standalone film.
