Star Wars Rebels final episode is called “jaw-dropping” by one of its actors…

Star Wars Rebels is going full-throttle down the trench run, with an estimated seven episodes remaining for series. A lot can happen in seven episodes, with the fate of the Ghost crew hanging in the balance. Kanan Jarrus, Jedi Knight, is likely to meet his doom within the next few episodes, possibly sending his apprentice, Ezra Bridger spiraling down the pits of the Dark Side of the Force.

Confirming our suspicions of an epic conclusion is actor Dee Bradley Baker, who plays former Clonetrooper Rex in Star Wars Rebels. He recently shared his thoughts on the finale, which apparently is one for the ages.

Baker calls the conclusion of Star Wars Rebels “jaw-dropping” and “Star Wars at its very best.” Those are bold claims, but ones that the show will surely back-up with “Force.” Rebels is generally a steady show, with its season finales typically delivering the goods. Imagine what’s in store for the very last moment of the show? The possibilities are endless within these Unknown Regions.

He also confirms the rumors of a February 24, 2018, return date of some sort, which feels like an eternity to wait.  However, it will be well worth it but will test our Jedi patience in the meantime.

More from Dork Side of the Force

Dave Filoni, Supervising Director for Star Wars Rebels, is a real Padawan of the Maker, George Lucas himself. He learned under the ultimate Jedi Master during Star Wars: The Clone Wars, where Lucas then passed the torch to Filoni upon his retirement in 2012.

One of the best storytellers of our generation, Filoni will undoubtedly send Rebels out with a bang, but we know the path for our favorite characters with be a dark one. Grand Admiral Thrawn is the current villain who’s a thorn in the side of the Rebels, with Darth Vader’s return likely as well.

We will finally get our answers to the whole Ahsoka lives debate, which we’ve been itching to know since the Season 2 finale nearly two years ago. With Rebels on a collision course with the events of Rogue One and A New Hope, the end is near for the fan-favorite show and a few of the characters as well.
