When does The Mandalorian Season 2 premiere?
The Mandalorian’s second season premieres in October on Disney+, but the exact date hasn’t been revealed yet. Similar to the first season, it’s likely to get a weekly release instead of all the episodes at once.
How else would Disney get keep people to stay on every month?
The Mandalorian Season 2: Who is returning?
It’s safe to say that Din Djarin (Pablo Pascal) and Baby Yoda will be back. Part of the story is how this clan of two was formed and what they will do next.
We also know Cara Dune (Gino Carrano) is back as she posted about it on her Instagram when filming wrapped. Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) is not sitting this one out either. He’s talked about some of his scenes on set so far, and with that Season 1 ending it would be entirely unfair not to get him back.
While I haven’t seen it confirmed anywhere, it would also be hard to think that Greef Karga (Carl Weathers) wouldn’t be back either. Cara stayed behind with him. So, it would make sense they would both be returning.

The likelihood of this happening is extremely high.
Other characters that are rumored to be in Season 2 include Boba Fett and Bo-Katan. These reports came from solid news outlets saying that Temuera Morrison, who is the face of every clone, and Katee Sackhoff will be playing these roles, respectively, in the upcoming season.
Timothy Olyphant is also reportedly in the second season as potentially Cobb Vanth, the sheriff who most likely found Boba Fett’s armor in the Tatooine desert.
In addition, actor Michael Biehn is also said to be part of the second season. Reportedly, he’s also a bounty hunter.
