The Chosen One himself, Hayden Christensen, may be filming scenes for Ahsoka season 2 soon. Christensen was scheduled to appear at Comic Con Manchester, which takes place on July 26, but he dropped out last minute.
According to a tweet from Comic Con Manchester, Christensen dropped out due to "night-time film shoots over the weekend of our convention."

Please read this whole message as it will ultimately contain both positives and negatives.
Unfortunately Hayden Christensen has night-time film shoots over the weekend of our convention.
Christensen's cancellation is a bummer for fans who had tickets to meet him, but it's exciting for anyone who's waiting for more Anakin Skywalker. Ahsoka season 2 is currently filming in the UK, which makes it highly likely that Christensen changed plans as he's required on set. At the moment, Christensen only has Ahsoka listed among his upcoming projects, which means it's a good bet that he's about to put Anakin Skywalker robes back on.
Hayden's return as Anakin is much-awaited, and his performance in season 1 was one of the high points of the series. In episode 5, "Shadow Warrior", Ahsoka reunited with her former Master, who had one final lesson to pass on. In the coming season, she may need her Master's guidance as she and Sabine Wren look for a way to return to the home galaxy. The duo was stranded on Peridea when the season ended, with the show's final shot being Anakin Skywalker's force ghost.
That particular scene was filmed at night, so it's possible Hayden might have to shoot something similar. Of course, it could be a different scene as well. Anakin's role in season 2 is a mystery, but he could play a crucial role in multiple ways. Season 1 hinted that Ahsoka had made peace with Anakin's fall and was ready to talk about him with Sabine. She remembered him fondly and watched training videos he recorded for her during the Clone Wars.
With the duo reconciled, Anakin can protect Ahsoka from a distance as she faces off with Baylan Skol or another evil entity on Peridea. He can also appear in more Clone Wars flashbacks, or finally have a conversation with Ahsoka in the present timeline by communicating with her as a force ghost. Perhaps, by completing Ahsoka's training in a true sense, and helping her escape Peridea before the home galaxy is doomed forever by Thrawn and his allies, Anakin can finally be considered a Jedi Master.
Ahsoka season 2 premieres next year on Disney+.
