More details for Star Wars Rebels Season 4 emerge, with a trailer for the second half looming.

The end for Star Wars Rebels is upon us, with the final handful of episodes just weeks away. With a release date projected on February 24, the new trailer is no doubt days away. Recently, the Lucasfilm Publicist for Star Wars Rebels, Tracy Cannobbio confirmed we would receive confirmation of the United States return date for the show within the next week.

For now, episode titles and descriptions surfaced, which will hopefully hold us over until Dave Filoni releases the final trailer for Rebels — what are you waiting for by the way? The first two, “Jedi Night” and “DUME” were revealed last week, but another duo of episodes following joins the mix.

  • Jedi Night – Season 4: Episode 10

"The Ghost Crew infiltrates the Imperial headquarters on Lothal to save one of their own."

DUME – Season 4: Episode 11

"Reeling from a devastating loss, the Ghost crew rallies together to find a new purpose and resolve."

Wolves at the Door – Season 4: Episode 12

"Ezra and the Ghost crew learn the Empire has plans for the Jedi Temple on Lothal."

  • A World Between Worlds – Season 4: Episode 13

"While the other rebels engage the Imperial forces outside the Jedi temple, Ezra gains access inside and experiences a revelation."

Judging by these descriptions alone, we are in for a treat with the remaining story arc for Rebels, which will no doubt be full of loss, sadness, death, yet, selfless-sacrifice, and hope. Naturally, Dave Filoni chimed in, teasing us fans with this image of the cunning Grand Admiral Thrawn.

More from Dork Side of the Force

This image does not bode well for our band of Rebels, who will indeed meet their match with the Chiss Admiral. Also, with talks of the Force and Jedi Temples, the ruthless Darth Vader will undoubtedly make an appearance — which means a likely end not only for Kanan but his apprentice, Ezra Bridger as well.

We know for a fact that Hera survives until after the Battle of Endor from Return of the Jedi, but the fates of our other Ghost crew members are up in the air, raising the stakes for each remaining episode. Kanan is the first likely candidate to become one with the Force, with Ezra sure to follow.

Sabine and Zeb’s survival are both more plausible, where they would likely return to their respective home-worlds.

Next: We talk to Ashley Eckstein about Ahsoka and more!

Star Wars Rebels is projected for a February 24, 2018, return date, and once the trailer officially drops, we will know for certain. Like most of you all, we don’t want this ride to end.
